1. Purpose and relation to the Terms

This consumer-facing summary explains how cancellations and refunds work at MaxDan. It supplements (and does not replace) the Site Terms. In any conflict, mandatory law and/or the Terms shall prevail.

2. How to cancel in practice

We recommend keeping proof of dispatch (e.g., screenshot/sent receipt). Including the subject and your name/subscription ID speeds up handling.

3. Subscription (ongoing service)

Billing model: monthly prepayment for consecutive periods (as detailed in the Terms).

Effective date of cancellation: a cancellation prevents future charges and takes effect at the end of the period already prepaid.

Refunds: no refunds or partial credits are provided for any remaining portion of a prepaid current period, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Where required by law, proportional charges/credits up to the cancellation date will apply.

Once your notice is received, future charges will cease within the time limits set by law for ongoing transactions.

4. Right to cancel in distance sales (consumer summary)

Cancellation right — up to 14 days from the legally defined trigger date (depending on the transaction type).

Cancellation fee — up to 5% of the price or ₪100 (whichever is lower).

If service has already begun — proportional charges may apply up to the cancellation date, where required by law.

Protected populations (person with disability/senior/new immigrant) may be entitled to a longer period, subject to statutory conditions.

Any refund, if due, is made within the statutory timeframe to the same payment method used.

5. Service already provided & instant digital content

One-off service fully performed: it cannot be “undone”; amounts for the portion already provided are not refundable. Future elements not yet provided may be cancelled.

Ongoing service: cancellation operates prospectively; proportional charges/credits up to the cancellation date apply where required by law.

Digital content/service provided immediately at a distance: limitations on the cancellation right may apply. In such cases, we will obtain explicit prior consent to start immediately, including notice that the cancellation right may not apply to the part already supplied.

6. One-time fee for the “Setup Service” upon joining a subscription

When joining the Portfolio Support subscription, the client receives a Needs Analysis & Portfolio Construction service (the “Setup Service”).

Listed price: ₪250 (subject to change).

Conditional waiver: as long as the subscription remains active for three (3) full consecutive monthly periods, the Setup Service fee will not actually be charged.

Cancellation before 3 months: if cancelled before completing three full monthly periods, the client agrees in advance to be charged for the Setup Service at the rate in effect on the subscription date (currently ₪250), in addition to any lawful proportional monthly charges up to the effective cancellation date.

7. Refund timelines and method

Refunds (where due) are issued to the original payment method within the statutory timeframe, after deducting any lawful cancellation fee (if applicable). A refund/credit confirmation will be sent by e-mail.

8. Short examples

Cancellation mid-period (already prepaid): access/benefits continue until period-end; future renewals are stopped.

Cancellation during the first month: no partial refund for the already prepaid period; if three full periods have not yet elapsed, the Setup Service fee is charged per §6 (subject to law).

Purchase of instant digital content with explicit waiver of cancellation: no refund for the component already supplied; future components (if any) may be cancelled.

10. Languages and precedence

This Policy applies together with the Site Terms. Versions in other languages are provided for convenience; the Hebrew version is the binding and prevailing version.
